Learning at the Library 

In 2018, the Maynard Community Library started hosting Learning at the Library classes in our meeting room.  September through May, the library has a guest speaker once a month.  Classes start at 7:00 and the public is welcome to attend.  To view a schedule, click on the link below or on the homepage.

Past presenters have shared information about the Underground Railroad, cake decorating, British Monarchy, understanding your DNA, immigration test, food for your brain, gardening, Maynard cemetary and Founders, Prohibition in Iowa, country school education, music and what to do with it, and the West Central Charter School.

Also including Iowa prisoners of war, vaccines, Iowa's Fallen Vietnam Soldiers, Fayette County, Amish Culture, organ donations, humans versus machine.
